With knowledge of Building Services and HVAC Engineering the company was formed in 1989 to service the needs of the Oil and Gas Sector.

 

This was primarily in Aberdeen but once the name and expertise were established work came in from further afield.

During the busy 90’s the company utilised numerous specialist contract engineers, however just as plans were being made to expand the business, a slump came. The Directors saw this volatility as being detrimental to future business therefore decided to keep the company small, however continued to employ contract personnel when the workload required it.

 

This has worked very well, with the company having a good name in HVAC Engineering and often we are approached by Operators when they have been let down by their service provider or have a problem it cannot solve.

The company has a number of in house services and under its own management can outsource various aspects of the work. Sideturn provides a varied range of services for the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) industry. Main areas of works include; offshore installations, petrochemical sites, gas plant, wind farms, civic building and office blocks.
